No, Synkro Race is a competition designed exclusively to compete in pairs format. The essence of the race is teamwork, coordination, and synchronization with your partner.
You can form your team in any of our three available categories:
Men’s Pairs.
Women’s Pairs.
Mixed Pairs.
Registration works in tiers based on available spots, rewarding those who sign up the fastest:
Tier 1: Pairs 0 to 100: €100 per pair.
Tier 2: Pairs 101 to 200: €120 per pair.
Tier 3: Pairs 201 onwards: €140 per pair.
Synkro Race was created with a 100% accessible philosophy for non-professional participants and amateur athletes. The weights and demands are designed so that any fitness, functional training, or gym enthusiast can complete it and enjoy the challenge.
The circuit combines running and strength and functional control stations. You’ll find classic challenges like lunges and farmer carry, as well as specific team coordination challenges like burpees over the worm.
In certain workouts, both members of the pair must perform repetitions in sync (for example, breaking parallel simultaneously in a squat or touching the ground at the same time in a burpee). Judges will ensure you execute the movement in sync.
We want your on-track experience to be dynamic and fluid. That’s why we’ve eliminated complex penalties. If you make a technical error in an exercise or a mistake on the course, no penalty time will be added at the end; you’ll simply need to make the immediate correction on the track as indicated by the judge to continue.
Course judges are there to help you. Their main role is to ensure safety, guide athletes through the flow of the race, make sure movements are performed with correct technique, and validate synced reps—always aiming to keep the competition moving.
Registration includes the right to compete in the official Synkro Race circuit, official race timing, medical assistance on the track, refreshments during and at the end of the race, access to the Extreme Barcelona venue, and the athlete welcome pack.
Heat assignments will be officially announced in the days leading up to the event. Your partner will compete on a specific day and time during the weekend (either Saturday or Sunday), although you can attend the venue both days to enjoy the urban sports festival.
We allow free partner changes up to a few weeks before the event (the exact deadline will be detailed on the registration platform). You’ll just need to manage the data change via the ticketing platform’s support link.
Yes, the Parc del Fòrum will have a secure locker room area where you can leave your belongings before entering the warm-up and competition zones. Specific details regarding the exact location and services will be sent in the athlete’s guide prior to the race.
