Vision and objectives
- Synkro Race is a high-intensity multidisciplinary endurance competition in a pairs format (Hybrid Duos), integrated into the Extreme Barcelona operational environment.
- The format has been designed to maximize participation capacity, ensure a continuous flow without interruptions, and be accessible to non-professional participants.
- Fundamental Rule: The pair must remain together throughout the entire competition.
Competition format
The competition consists of 4 consecutive blocks without breaks. Each performance block includes the following technical sequence:
- Running Core: A running segment that acts as a metabolic activator and an essential connecting link.
- Sync-Workouts (Synchronized Stations): Tests where both athletes must perform the movement simultaneously and in coordination.
- Split-Workouts (Shared Load): Volume stations where the pair freely manages the division of work.

Judges and correction system
- The judge’s role is to validate execution, maintain flow, and facilitate the participant’s experience by avoiding unnecessary interruptions.
- The system eliminates complex penalties in favor of an immediate correction system.
- In the event of an execution error, the penalty is simply repeating the movement.
- In case of doubt, the repetition will be considered valid.
- Final Competition Principle: “A movement that is good enough is valid”
